The President's Office denied statements about the refusal of Zelensky's speech at Eurovision

The president's office denied the media's claims that Volodymyr Zelenskyi allegedly asked the organizers of the Eurovision song contest to perform online.

This was announced by the press secretary of the president Serhiy Nikiforov.

"The Times' information is not true. The office of the President of Ukraine did not contact the organizers of the Eurovision Song Contest with the offer of Volodymyr Zelenskyі's online performance during the final or at any other stage of the contest," he said.

It will be recalled that The Times reported that Volodymyr Zelenskyі allegedly asked the Eurovision organizers to address the audience during the final of the contest.

According to media reports, the European Broadcasting Union refused the president of Ukraine due to "unwillingness to politicize the competition".
