On May 9, the National Commission for State Regulation in the Energy and Utilities Sector (NKREKP) will begin conducting a scheduled inspection of compliance with legislation and licensing conditions in the energy sector of the Ukrenergo company in order to prevent an imbalance in the company's financial stability.
This is reported by the commission in Telegram.
As noted by the NCRECP, the company sent the relevant appeal regarding the need for a scheduled inspection twice by letter - in February and March of this year.
Earlier it was reported that the NCRECP set an insufficient electricity transmission tariff for "Ukrenergo" for the 1st quarter of 2023, which led to the problem of the company not receiving funds.
In particular, in January and February, the company had a deficit of 20% of funds for the fulfillment of its obligations, repairs and restoration of equipment.
