14 thousand Ukrainian soldiers returned to defend the Motherland after training in Great Britain.
This was stated by the junior secretary of the British Ministry of Defense Andrew Morrison, answering questions about Ukraine in the House of Commons, Sky News reports.
He said it was "quite obvious" that Britain was the leader in Europe.
"We initiated the creation of the International Fund for Ukraine, and £520 million, of which £300 million has been spent, is a truly significant achievement," said Morrison.
According to the official, Great Britain is also helping to prosecute the war crimes of the Russian Federation. "We play a leading role in every dimension in this country," he said.
Morrison also reported that 14,000 Ukrainian servicemen returned to defend their Motherland after training in Great Britain.
"Britain will support Ukraine as long as necessary and will spend another 2.3 billion pounds on military support for Ukraine this year," he added.
