Today, the European Union provided Ukraine with another 1.5 billion euros from the package of macro-financial assistance, the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, announced on Twitter.
"Today, we provide Ukraine with another 1.5 billion euros as part of our annual package of macro-financial assistance," the head of the EC wrote.
She emphasized that "we will continue to help Ukraine resist Russian aggression, support the work of its institutions and infrastructure, and carry out important reforms."
The President of the EC noted that the EU plans to allocate 18 billion euros to Ukraine for 2023 with regular provision of funds.
