The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova summoned the ambassador of the Russian Federation due to the scandalous visit of the president of Tatarstan

The Russian ambassador to Moldova, Oleg Vasnetsov, will be summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday, where the Chisinau authorities will inform the head of the diplomatic mission about the improper behavior of two Russian diplomats.

 Deschide writes about it.

The authorities of Moldova will also consider the possibility of declaring one of the Russian diplomats persona non grata.

According to the spokesman of the government, Daniel Vode, this decision was a consequence of the actions of the Russian embassy employees against the border guards, who prohibited the entry into Moldova of the head of the Russian Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minikhanov.

"Improper behavior of some officials in relation to our government is unacceptable," he said, without clarifying what kind of illegal behavior was involved.

We will remind, on April 17, the head of Tatarstan, Rustam Minikhanov, said that he was not allowed to enter Moldova.

According to Minnikhanov, the candidate for the leadership of Gagauzia Viktor Petrovy and the socialist deputy Oleksandr Sukhodolsky invited him to the International Congress "Friendship of Peoples-2023".

Minikhaniv is under the sanctions of the European Union, the United States and Canada. He is the chairman of the board of Tupolev PJSC, which manufactures strategic bombers for the Russian armed forces.
