President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi held another meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief on Monday, the press service of the President's Office reported on Monday.
"The participants heard information about the operational situation on the front line. The commanders of the operational-strategic groups of the troops "Khortytsia", "Tavria", "Odesa", "Pivnich" reported on the course of hostilities in the areas of the front within the limits of their responsibility. Intelligence informed about possible actions of the enemy in the near future," the message reads.
The members of the Staff also "considered the issue of providing the defense forces of Ukraine with weapons and ammunition, in particular of their own production. The participants of the meeting analyzed the state of execution of contracts with Ukrainian manufacturers and the prospects for increasing the in-house production of all types of missiles and ammunition. In addition, they continued to consider the issue of staffing and by the equipment of the newly created brigades".
The meeting was attended by the head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense Kyrylo Budanov, the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov, commanders of military branches and operational areas.
