Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán supported the recent statements of French President Emmanuel Macron, which caused criticism in Europe and the United States.

 "The French president is looking for potential partners, not enemies, which is close to Hungary's position," he said.

 According to the Hungarian Prime Minister, Europe needs to take into account "its own interests, not the interests of others."

 Orbán noted that "it is necessary to ask whether American interests coincide with European ones."
