In Ukraine, about 7,000 personnel will be on duty in the State Emergency Service system on Easter. More than 420 people will be on duty in the Kyiv region. This was announced by the press officer of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, Oleksandr Horunzhy, during a briefing.
About 7,000 personnel and more than 2,000 units of fire-rescue and special equipment will be on duty in the DSES system, which are ready for action as assigned. If the situation worsens, we will strengthen the forces and means of the emergency department. We will be able to increase our forces to 13,000 people and up to 3,000 units of equipment," Khorunzhy said.
According to him, if we take the Kyiv garrison, Kyiv region, more than 420 people and more than 100 pieces of equipment will be on duty, and reserves have been created.
"Therefore, we are ready for any events during Easter. In particular, operative mobile groups from among the management staff will be on duty, and round-the-clock work of such operative groups will be organized," Khorunzhy said.
