The company Sustainable Solutions from Texas announced two projects related to the supply of liquefied gas to Ukraine.

The CEO of the company, Emil Peña, told about it.

According to him, the company has already concluded an agreement on the lease of a floating terminal for the reception of liquefied gas, which is planned to be placed near the coast of Estonia.

"We have two tankers for the transportation of liquefied gas that will serve this terminal. We are ready to launch this project by October. At the same time, Estonia is ready to buy part of the gas, and Latvia is ready to buy another part. However, we are ready to offer the majority of it to Ukraine," he said. he.

According to Peña, the management of "Naftogaz" will arrive in Houston next week to conduct relevant negotiations.

The second project can be launched much earlier - in the coming months. It offers the supply of liquefied gas by special trucks equipped with devices for regasification of liquefied gas.

"Similar transportation is quite common in the USA, although in Europe, as far as we know, only one company provides such services. Now we are ready to rent 10 such cars, but in the future their number may be increased," says Peña.

According to him, the company plans to start an internship in Poland for drivers working on gasification devices in the near future. At the same time, the company plans to obtain all necessary permits in the EU and Ukraine.

"Of course, this will not solve all of Ukraine's gas problems. However, it will allow diversifying gas supplies, increasing Ukraine's energy security," Peña summarizes.

The U.S. reportedly sent nearly three-quarters of all its liquefied natural gas to Europe in the first four months of 2022, up from one-third last year.
