American business should come to Ukraine and leave the Russian market, - Zelenskyi

Today, February 28, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi called on American businesses to come to Ukraine and leave the Russian market.

This was reported by the press service of the President's Office.

Today, the head of state addressed the members of the US National Association of Manufacturers. It is one of the largest industrial associations in the American business world, representing large and small manufacturers from all industries in all 50 US states. Currently, the association has about 14,000 members.

"Right now we are calling on all companies to come to Ukraine and to leave the Russian market. It is obvious that participating in the reconstruction of Ukraine after hostilities will give an extraordinary moral advantage to all businesses that will participate in the reconstruction. And it is also obvious that every business that will now help Russian tyranny in any way, he will not be able to avoid problems and a reputational crisis," Zelenskyi emphasized.

According to him, American business has every opportunity to take a leadership position both in the restoration of the Ukrainian economy and infrastructure, and in demonstrating to the world that human nature should serve worthy goals.

"Ukrainian life will inevitably get a new start after this war," the president emphasized.
