 As noted, the draft law provides for changes to some laws of Ukraine regarding the protection of the state border of Ukraine, namely:

 The strip along the Ukrainian-Russian and Ukrainian-Belarusian borders will increase to 2 km wide. This will practically be a mined territory;

 The issue of the involvement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard and the National Police in the performance of tasks for the protection of the state border has been settled;

 The place of border guards in the general system of the Defense Forces during martial law is defined.
