The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has exposed China in lies regarding the smuggling of Western weapons, which, after entering Ukraine, allegedly end up in the hands of criminal groups.
This was announced by the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleg Nikolenko on Facebook.
According to Nikolenko, China's Foreign Ministry stated that weapons supplied by the US to Ukraine are often smuggled into the hands of criminal groups in Europe and other regions.
"We categorically reject insinuations about the alleged smuggling of Western weapons from Ukraine," the spokesman said.
He explained that our country has a modern and effective system of control over the acquisition and use of weapons, which is highly trusted by its partners. This system is multi-level and completely eliminates any possibility of illegal export of weapons.
Nikolenko also noted that Russia is meanwhile investing numerous resources in disinformation to undermine international military aid to Ukraine.
"We call on the Chinese side to be guided solely by the facts and not to be a tool in the hands of Russian propaganda," he added.
We will remind, according to the Pentagon, China still has not removed from the agenda the possibility of supplying the Russian Federation with lethal weapons.
In turn, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, said that if China unites with Russia, a world war may begin.
