Already this week in New York, a resolution in support of peace in Ukraine will be submitted for consideration by the UN General Assembly. This was announced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi during a joint press conference with US President Joe Biden in Kyiv.
"Already this week in New York, together with the United States and almost 60 other states, we are submitting to the General Assembly for consideration a resolution in support of peace in Ukraine, and on the eve of February 24, the approval of this resolution will be the best testimony, a powerful testimony that terrorist forces will never break. civilized rules," Zelenskyі said.
Zelenskyi also noted that Ukraine will insist on the creation of an international special tribunal for Russia.
On the eve of the first anniversary of the Russian invasion, the UN General Assembly plans to adopt a resolution on the sovereignty and integrity of Ukraine.
Germany is pushing the UN General Assembly resolution to the anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine on February 24.
