 According to the press service of DTEK, due to the threat of a missile attack, emergency power outages are applied in Kyiv, Kyiv, Odesa and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

 In addition, the lights were turned off in the Sumy region. "In connection with the threat of rocket attacks, emergency power cuts are taking place by order of the NEC Ukrenergo," the press service of Sumyoblenergo reported.

 Emergency shutdowns were also applied in the Cherkasy region. "Due to the threat of enemy attacks, precautionary power outages have been implemented in Cherkasy region," wrote the head of the Cherkasy RMA Ihor Taburets.

 In addition, the lights are turned off in Kirovohrad, Kherson and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.

 Also, emergency shutdowns were applied in the Zaporizhzhya region.

 "Due to the threat of further shelling by racist invaders of the electricity facilities of Ukraine, on the order of the NEC Ukrenergo, preventive power cuts are urgently being carried out in the Zaporizhzhya region," the Zaporizhzhyaoblenergo press service reported.

 As noted in the press service, the purpose of these measures is to minimize the possible negative consequences of shelling and preserve the stable state of the unified energy system of Ukraine.
