The Ukrainian military continues to destroy the Russian occupiers. On February 16, our defenders repelled enemy attacks in the Kherson, Luhansk and Donetsk regions.

"The main efforts of the enemy are focused on conducting offensive actions in the Kupyan, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiiv and Shakhtar directions," the General Staff said.
In the Volyn, Poliske, Siversk, and Slobozhansk directions, the enemy continues to hold certain units in the areas bordering Ukraine, but no offensive groups have been detected.
The training of units of Russian troops continues at the training grounds in Belarus. The enemy does not stop mortar and artillery shelling of the positions of our units, as well as settlements along the state border of Ukraine.
During the past 24 hours, areas of Popivka, Bachivsk and Partyzanske settlements of Sumy region, as well as Veterinarne, Graniv, Svitlychne, Strelecha and Vovchansk of Kharkiv region were subjected to enemy shelling.
On the Kupyansk and Lymansk directions, the enemy shelled the settlements of Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Hryanikyvka, and Kucherivka of the Kharkiv region, Stelmakhivka, Nevske, and Chervonopivka of the Luhansk region, and Berestov of the Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, Spirne, Vyimka, Bilogorivka, Vesele, Rozdolivka, Fedorivka, Vasyukivka, Paraskoviivka, Bakhmut, Ivanovske, Stupochki, Predtechine, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Kurdyumivka and Ozaryanivka were affected by fire.
On the Avdiiv and Shakhtarsky directions, the enemy carried out artillery shelling of the settlements of Vesele, Avdiivka, Vodyane, Pervomaiske, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Georgiivka, Maryinka, Pobeda, Novomykhailivka, Vugledar, Bogoyavlenka, Prechistivka, Velyka Novosilka, Vremivka, and Neskuchne of the Donetsk region.
In the Zaporizhzhya region, the areas of Zelene Pole and Novopil settlements of Donetsk region and Malynivka, Gulyaipole, Zaliznychne, Biloghirya, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanilivka, Orihiv, Novoandriyivka and Kamianske of Zaporizhzhya
region were hit by fire.
On the Kherson direction, Zmiivka, Tokarivka, Antonivka and Kherson suffered from enemy artillery fire. Peaceful people suffered.
Last day, units of the Defense Forces repelled the attacks of Russian invaders in the areas of Hryanikyvka and Sinkivka settlements of Kherson region, Stelmakhivka, Kreminna, Dibrova and Bilogorivka - Luhansk and Rozdolivka, Fedorivka, Paraskoviivka, Bakhmut, Ivanovske, Severnye, Vodyane, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka and Vugledar Donetsk region.
During the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out 13 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment of the occupiers, as well as one on the position of an anti-aircraft missile complex.
At the same time, units of rocket forces and artillery hit 4 areas of concentration of enemy manpower, an artillery unit in a firing position, 2 positions of anti-aircraft missile systems, an ammunition depot, as well as 2 other important objects of the occupiers.
In the temporarily captured Melitopol of the Zaporizhzhуa region, the operation of an additional mobile phone tower installed by the enemy was discovered. With its help, Russian special services have the opportunity to listen to telephone conversations of subscribers of GSM operators.
In order to replenish the losses in manpower, the enemy lures various categories of society, in particular the so-called "guest workers", into the ranks of the Russian occupation forces in various ways.
