The Belgian government has approved a military aid package for Ukraine worth 92 million euros

On January 27, the Belgian government decided to provide Ukraine with a package of military aid in the amount of EUR 92 million. It will include cars, portable anti-aircraft systems, small arms and light anti-tank weapons.

Prime Minister Oleksandr De Cro said this after the weekly meeting of the Council of Ministers in Brussels, RTBF reports.

"This substantial assistance today, which complements the assistance of our partners, is aimed at enabling the Ukrainian army to deter a new offensive by the Russian army in the coming weeks," he said.

The new package of military aid will supplement the previous ones with a total amount of 186 million euros. In addition, since the beginning of the large-scale invasion, the country has supplied Ukraine with fuel worth 44 million euros.
