Russian terror is capable of stopping the weapons that are in the warehouses of our partners, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi said in a video message on Saturday.
"Russia launched another massive missile attack on Ukrainian cities. Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa, Kryvyi Rih, Dnipro, Vinnytsia, Ladyzhyn, Burshtyn, Khmelnytskyi and other cities were targets of terrorists," he said.
"In the city of Dnipro, as a result of this Russian attack, a residential building was destroyed. It was possible to save dozens of people - wounded and injured. They are being helped. The demolition of the rubble is still ongoing and will continue throughout the night. It is not yet known how many people are under the rubble. Unfortunately, the list of the dead is growing from every hour... My condolences to family and friends," the president said.
According to him, out of more than 30 missiles launched by Ukraine during the day, more than 20 were shot down. "These are hundreds of lives saved. I thank our Air Force, our anti-aircraft fighters and everyone who helps," he said.
Unfortunately, the president said, energy infrastructure facilities are also affected, and in this regard, the most difficult situation is in Kharkiv region and Kyiv region.
"Is it possible to stop Russian terror? Yes. Is it possible to do it differently than on the battlefield in Ukraine? No, unfortunately. It can and must be done on our land, in our sky, in our sea. What is needed for this? , which is in the warehouses of our partners and which our soldiers are waiting for," the president also said.
