The Russian leadership plans to create an army of two million. Such plans are evidenced by the scale of mobilization activities being carried out in the Russian Federation.
This is reported by the GUR of the Ministry of Defense.
Ukrainian intelligence reported that during the first wave of mobilization, 300,000 people were drafted into the Russian army. After a short training, the mobilized are transferred to Ukraine.
At the same time, the GUR does not rule out that the Russian leadership will announce another wave of mobilization in the coming days. According to intelligence estimates, another 500,000 Russians will join the armed forces of the Russian Federation, which will allow the aggressor country to create strategic reserves.
"Russia is already actively preparing for the announcement of the next wave of mobilization. At the legislative level, changes are being made to the laws of the Russian Federation that regulate mobilization. Training centers are also being actively prepared," - noted the HUR.
According to military intelligence estimates, the scale of the mobilization measures being carried out in the Russian Federation indicates the plans of the Russian leadership to create an army numbering about two million people.
