French President Emmanuel Macron, during a meeting with Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, promised to continue supporting Ukraine amid its full-scale war with Russia. This is reported by CNN.

 "We will discuss our determination to continue to respond to Russian aggression against Ukraine as winter approaches and Ukrainians need our support more than ever," Macron said in the courtyard of the Elysee Palace before a working lunch with the Swedish leader.

 "Ukraine's victory is existential for Europe and for the whole world," Kristersson said in turn, stressing the importance of the EU's response to the energy crisis that arose as a result of the war in Ukraine.
