The troops of the Russian Federation, despite significant losses in manpower, do not stop offensive operations in the Bakhmut and Avdiiv directions. Also, the occupiers are trying to improve the tactical situation in the Lyman direction. This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The situation remains stable in the Volyn, Poliske, Siversk, and Slobozhansk directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, and no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups have been detected.
On the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the Mefedivka and Volkivka settlements of the Sumy region, as well as Hlyboke, Staritsa, Ogiryovo and Vovchansk of the Kharkiv region, were hit by artillery and mortar shelling.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy shelled the areas of the settlements of Novomlynsk, Dvorichne, Kupyansk, Krokhmalne, Berestov and Pershotravneve in the Kharkiv region and Novoselivske, Stelmakhivka and Kolomiychikha in the Luhansk region.
In the Lyman direction, enemy fire was detected near Dibrova in the Luhansk region and Yampolivka and Hryhorivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, the areas of the settlements of Spirne, Bilogorivka, Soledar, Bakhmut, Chasiv Yar, Opytne, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, Bila Gora, Oleksandro-Shultine, Ozaryanivka, Mayorsk and New York of the Donetsk region were shelled.
Vodyane, Pershotravneve, Maryinka and Novomykhailivka of the Donetsk region came under the influence of fire in the Avdiiv region.
On the Novopavlivskyi direction, the areas of Vugledar, Prechistivka, Vremivka, and Velikay Novosilka of the Donetsk region suffered an artillery defeat.
In the Zaporizhzhya direction, the enemy fired tanks and barrel artillery in the areas of Temuvannya, Poltavka, Dorozhnyanka, Novoandriivka, Kamianskyi and Plavnaya of the Zaporizhzhya region.
In the Kherson region, the civil infrastructure of Antonivka, Kherson region, and the city of Kherson were again damaged by Russian shelling. There are casualties among civilians.
In connection with significant losses of personnel in the Luhansk region, there is an increase in cases of desertion of Russian servicemen and abandonment of combat positions. In order to maintain control of the situation, the Russian military leadership increased the number of patrols to detain and return deserters to units.
During the day, units of the missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces of Ukraine hit the control post, 6 areas where the enemy's manpower and military equipment were concentrated, an ammunition depot, as well as one other important military object.
