NEC "Ukrenergo" reported on the spread of fake information on the alleged cancellation of emergency shutdowns on social networks with reference to the company's fake page, calling it another attempt by the Russian Federation to stir up society.
"Emergency shutdowns are a forced step, which is used only in the presence of a deficit, to preserve the balance of production and consumption in the energy system. The energy industry will be able to abandon them only after the complete cessation of enemy attacks on our energy system," the NEC Telegram channel said on Monday.
The company emphasized that "Ukrenergo" has only one official Facebook page and only one official Telegram channel.
"Anything else created under our logo in social networks is a fake and a Russian IPSO," Ukrenergo emphasized.
The company called on all interested persons to report cases of counterfeiting to it.
