In case of a complex blackout, the country needs 7-10 days to recover from it. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.

 He noted that these are theoretical calculations, because the world has not yet experienced such things.

 "In the most difficult case of a complete blackout, when everything is completely broken, the exit takes from 7 to 10 days. This is according to the calculations of our energy experts. I emphasize, these are theoretical calculations, because the world has not yet experienced such things," Shmyhal said.

 When asked about plans in case of a complete blackout for large cities, the prime minister answered that the government is preparing for all possible scenarios.

 "Response plans in case of critical situations have been presented to the heads of the RMA and community leaders. These documents are marked "For official use", they cannot be made public," he said.
