According to propaganda media, the fire has already been extinguished.

It is emphasized that since 2018 the cruiser has been in North Sea for planned repairs. In December 2019, a fire broke out on "Admiral Kuznetsov", as a result of which two people died, 14 more people were injured. The ship was planned to be handed over to the Russian Navy in 2022.

What is unique about "Admiral Kuznetsov"?

The ship is the only cruiser of the Russian Navy, the flagship of the Navy and the Northern Fleet. It was built in Mykolaiv and launched in 1985. 28 aircraft and 24 helicopters can be based on the cruiser. Su-33, MiG-29K and MiG-29KUB carrier-based fighters form the basis of the air wing.

In addition, "Admiral Kuznetsov" has missile weapons and is the only aircraft carrier in the world that can be in the Black Sea according to the Montreux Convention.
