The President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, signed an order according to which the authorities of Crimea, Sevastopol and the Moscow region are recommended to provide land plots to the "heroes of the SVO" and the families of soldiers who died during the battles. The corresponding document is published on the internet portal of legal information.
Plots are recommended to be provided free of charge to soldiers who have been awarded, as well as veterans of combat operations.
"To recommend to the state authorities of the Moscow region, the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol to adopt legislative acts establishing the cases of providing property free of charge to servicemen who have been awarded state awards of the Russian Federation for meritorious services, identified during their participation in a special military operation, and who are combat veterans," — the document says.
