On December 12, the Ukrainian military launched a successful attack on the occupiers in the Zaporizhzhia region, destroying enemy equipment. At the same time, today, December 14, aviation fired at Russian air defense systems. This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
According to the Ukrainian military command, the Russians are concentrating their efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Bakhmut and Avdiiv directions, and are also trying to improve their tactical position in the Kupyan and Lyman directions.
"Fire defeat was confirmed on December 12 of the current year in the concentration area of the invaders near Verbovoy, Zaporizhzhya region. Up to 10 units of weapons and military equipment of various types were destroyed, losses among enemy servicemen are being specified," the General Staff emphasized.
At the same time, the aircraft made seven strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment and three strikes on the positions of the occupiers' anti-aircraft missile systems. Missile troops and artillery shelled two control points and eight areas where enemy personnel were concentrated.

In the Volyn and Poliske directions, the situation has not changed significantly, no signs of the formation of offensive groups of the occupiers have been detected;
On the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, Russian soldiers shelled the areas of the settlements of Leonivka, Buchka, and Gai of the Chernihiv region; Seredyna-Buda and Kucherivka in Sumy Oblast and Hlyboke, Staritsa, Novomlynsk and Dvorichna in Kharkiv Oblast. Also, the enemy used an attack UAV near Kindrativka, Sumy region;
In the Kupyansk direction, tanks, mortars, barrel and jet artillery shelled the positions of our troops in the districts of Kislivka and Kotlyarivka in the Kharkiv region and Novoselivka and Stelmakhivka in the Luhansk region;
In the Lyman region, the areas of Maidanchyk, Nevsky, Chervonopivka of the Luhansk region and Dibrova and Hryhorivka of the Donetsk region were affected by the strikes of the occupiers;
In the direction of Bakhmut, Russian troops fired, in particular, in the areas of Andriivka, Blagodatne, Pidgorodne, Bakhmut, Klishchiivka, Bila Gora, Kurdyumivka, Diliivka, Mayorsk and New York of the Donetsk region. An air strike was carried out near Stupochka;
In the Avdiyiv direction, the shelling of our troops' positions near Nevelskyi, Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region was recorded from tanks, mortars, barrel and rocket artillery;
In the Novopavlovsk direction, the Russians covered with fire the positions of defenders of Ukraine near Vugledar, Novoukrainka, Prechistivka, Velyka Novosilka, and Nenudny, Donetsk region;
In the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson directions, the Russian occupiers continued to attack the civilian infrastructure of the settlements along the right bank of the Dnipro River.
The General Staff also notes that the enemy continues to use the network of public health care facilities in the temporarily occupied territory to treat wounded servicemen of the occupying forces and mercenaries of private military campaigns. Thus, in the city of Luhansk, wounded representatives of the "Wagner" PMC are being treated on the territory of the city's skin and venereal dispensary.
