People's deputy of Ukraine, military officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Roman Kostenko reported that the Mykolaiv region was completely liberated from the occupiers.
According to the people's deputy, the town of Snigurivka was liberated by our defense forces and is now being cleaned up - "our guys are taking it under complete control."
"This is the last city held by the enemy in the Mykolaiv region. Therefore, we can say that the Mykolaiv region has been completely liberated. Our defense forces continue to liberate the cities and towns of the Kherson region," Kostenko summarized.
So far, there is no official confirmation from the General Staff. It should also be noted that the Mykolaiv Oblast includes Kinburnska Kosa, which is located on the left bank of the Dnipro and is still occupied.
At the same time, the head of Mykolayiv RMA Vitaly Kim urged the residents of Snigurivka and other settlements to wait for the time being before returning. It is necessary to filter and check whether the houses are mined. Until this is done, it is not safe to return.
