In Iran, a red "flag of revenge" was raised over the dome of the Jamkaran Mosque in the holy city of Qom, which could mean a declaration of war. For Ukraine, this may have a positive signal.

 This was announced by the spokesman of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ignat on the air of the telethon.

 What does this mean for Ukraine?

 "We also see the events in Iran, where a red flag was raised over the mosque yesterday. This actually means the beginning of war," Ignat admitted.

 He explained that all totalitarian regimes, such as the Russian Federation and Iran, divert the attention of their population by conducting hostilities.

 "And Saudi Arabia, Israel, and the United States are already preparing to react to such actions. Perhaps it is not completely clear how Iran will fight on all fronts and help Russia, including Russia. Therefore, let's hope that these events, perhaps for Ukraine, will somehow play positively," says Ignat.

 Has Iran declared war?

 It should be noted that yesterday photos began to appear on social networks showing that the flag of revenge was raised above the Jamkaran Mosque in the holy Iranian city of Qom. The same flag was also seen over a mosque in the city of Shiraz, in the south of the country.

It is significant that the last such incident in Iran was recorded in 2020, when Iran raised such a flag and struck American bases in Iraq and oil refineries in Saudi Arabia.

 This happened after the US killed one of Iran's top generals, Qassem Soleimani, with a missile strike. When the Iranians raised the "flag of revenge" they claimed it was "in honor of the martyr Qassem Soleimani, who was killed by the Americans, thereby promising that they will avenge his martyrdom."

 It is noteworthy that yesterday the Iranian mass media captioned a photo with a red flag again as "a symbol of revenge for the blood of Kasem Suleimani."

 An attack on Saudi Arabia and Iraq?

 Meanwhile, the authoritative edition of The Wall Street Journal reported that Saudi Arabia warned the United States that Iran would attack it and Iraq "in the near future."

However, if the Iranians themselves start a war, it remains unclear how they will continue to help Moscow.
