Israel will not transfer weapons or anti-aircraft missiles to Ukraine, but will help with an airstrike warning system

Israel will not transfer weapons to Ukraine, but it can help it in creating a civilian system of early warning of airstrikes, the head of the Israeli Defense Ministry, Benny Gantz, told EU ambassadors.

"I want to emphasize that Israel will not transfer weapons systems to Ukraine due to a number of operational issues. We will continue to support Ukraine within our own limitations, as we have done before," the Times of Israel quoted the minister as saying.

According to him, Israel is limited to humanitarian support, the supply of funds to save lives and protective equipment.

"As part of the expanded transfer of aid and protective equipment, after talking with representatives of Ukraine, we have requested data that will allow us to help create and maintain an accurate warning system about aerial and other threats, such as in Israel," Gantz explained.
