As a result of the full-scale invasion of Russia in Ukraine, at least 423 children were killed, more than 810 were injured. This was reported by the Prosecutor General's Office in Telegram.
"As of the morning of October 14, 2022, more than 1,233 children were injured in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. According to the official information of the juvenile prosecutors, 423 children died and more than 810 were injured of various degrees of severity," the message reads.
The most affected children were in Donetsk oblast - 407, Kharkiv oblast - 256, Kyiv oblast - 116, Mykolaiv oblast - 77, Chernihiv oblast - 68, Zaporizhzhya oblast - 68, Luhansk oblast - 64, Kherson oblast - 57, Dnipropetrovsk oblast - 31.
As a result of bombing and shelling by the Russian armed forces, 2,614 educational institutions were damaged, of which 313 were completely destroyed.
In the evening briefing, the General Staff reported that the occupying forces of Russia had taken out about 170 children from Kherson.
