Lithuania will provide new military aid to Ukraine, which will include winter clothing, equipment, and heavy equipment.

Minister of Defense Arvydas Anushauskas wrote about this on Twitter.

"We will give winter clothing and equipment to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, allocate additional funds for material support for next year, provide 120 mm mortars on platform 113, armored vehicles, thermal imagers, drones, etc. We will not stop!" the minister wrote.

As the publication "Military" notes, we are talking about mobile 120-mm mortars on the chassis of the M113 tracked armored personnel carrier.

According to open data, the Lithuanian Army has about 40 German Panzermörser M113 self-propelled mortars. Lithuania received 42 such machines from Germany in 2005-2006.

As a weapon, a 120-mm Tampella mortar is used with a firing range of up to 6350 m. Ammunition reserve - 60 min.
