As a result of Russian missile attacks on Monday, 20 people died and 108 were injured, Oleksandr Khorunzhy, press officer of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, said.
"During these rocket attacks, as of 12:00, we have figures for the dead - 20 people, injured - 108," he said at a briefing on Tuesday.
Khorunzhy also noted that a total of 205 objects were damaged as a result of rocket attacks, including 45 buildings (30 of them high-rise buildings), as well as "objects of other spheres, in particular - critical infrastructure."
According to the State Emergency Service, 51 fires broke out at critical infrastructure facilities in 13 regions and Kyiv the day before. All of them, according to the press officer, have already been liquidated, and energy workers are working to restore electricity supply.
"As a result of these strikes, the electricity supply was partially disrupted in 15 regions... If as of yesterday evening, that is 9:00 p.m., more than 1,300 settlements in Ukraine were cut off, now this number is 180 settlements, where there are still power outages ... Currently, our divisions provide electricity to social facilities, in particular hospitals and critical infrastructure facilities: 25 generators of various capacities have been installed," Khorunzhy clarified.
