The President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, named new "reasons" for the war against Ukraine. This time he mentioned the "breaking of history into parts". This is reported by the Russian mass media.
"Perhaps, there would not be today's "conflict" if there were no attempts by some forces in Ukraine itself and in the West to correct history and tear it apart," Putin said.
The Russian president also reminded that in Ukraine "they tried to revive Nazism." According to him, there are neo-Nazis all over the world, but only in Ukraine "they are not being fought."
"On the contrary: they are exalted, put on a pedestal, thousands of torchlight processions are allowed in the center of big cities. This is what impresses and causes rejection in a normal person," said the President of the Russian Federation.
Putin also decided to comment on the recent referendums that Russia held in the occupied territories of Ukraine. He said that the "results of referendums" in the "DPR", "LPR", Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions pleased him with their "transparency" and "objectivity".
"The situation will be stabilized, we will be able to calmly develop these territories. We will help you, all the people who endured wandering for many years and wanted to be reunited with Russia in their hearts. People lived and continue to live in such difficult conditions. There was no desire here that - correct, clean up something, add something. We decided that it will be as people want. The result is completely transparent and cannot be doubted," Putin said.
