German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that it was German weapons that played a decisive role in the successful counteroffensive of the Ukrainian army.
"We can say that the same weapons that Germany provided to Ukraine are of decisive importance for the development of the conflict in the east of Ukraine," Scholz said.
The Chancellor noted that Germany will soon hand over the IRIS-T anti-aircraft missile system to Ukraine. According to him, this is "modern equipment that even the Bundeswehr does not use."
