Ukraine expects to receive another 3 billion euros of macro-financial assistance from the European Union by the end of this year. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal in Telegram.
During the government meeting, Shmyhal thanked the European Commission for unblocking the macro-finance and allocating the first tranche of 5 billion euros to Ukraine. According to the Prime Minister, the EU can allocate the second part of 3 billion euros by the end of this year.
The head of the government noted that he has started conducting political consultations on macro-financial support for 2023. Ukraine needs financial assistance in the amount of 12 billion euros next year.
"This will cover the deficit of our budget and ensure the stability of the economy," the prime minister explained.
