Russia may stop supplying gas and other energy resources to the European Union if Brussels introduces a price cap.
This was stated by the head of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin, the Eastern Economic Forum reports.
The Russian dictator recalled the contractual obligations and stated that the price limit allegedly violates them.
"There are contractual obligations, supply contracts, and if some decisions of a political nature are made that contradict the contracts, then we simply will not fulfill them," he said.
At the same time, Putin once again threatened to cut off gas if the EU limits prices.
"And we will not supply anything at all, if it is against our interests and, in this case, economic. We will not supply gas, oil, coal, or fuel oil," the head of the Kremlin said.
It will be recalled that Putin also stated that there is no need to launch Nord Stream-2 yet, but if necessary, Russia can "just press a button."
