In Poland, near Warsaw, a bus carrying citizens of Belarus overturned into a ditch.
This was reported by RMF24 and local publications.
The accident occurred on highway No. 2 between the cities of Minsk-Mazovetskyi and Siedlce. A bus with Belarusian license plates heading to Warsaw left the road under unknown circumstances and overturned, it is assumed that the driver may have fallen asleep at the wheel.
According to the rescuers, there were 45 people in the cabin, 33 were injured and needed hospitalization, one person with serious injuries was evacuated by helicopter. People managed to get out of the bus on their own before the rescue services arrived.
Emergency services continue to work on the spot, the road is blocked.
