EU ministers will hold an emergency meeting over the "energy war" with Russia

The energy ministers of the EU countries will gather as soon as possible for an urgent meeting to discuss emergency measures. This was announced by the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, Petro Fiala.

 Fiala stated that the Czech EU presidency will convene an urgent meeting of energy ministers to discuss specific emergency measures to resolve the energy situation.

 

 Also, the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, Josef Sikela, emphasized that the EU countries are engaged in an energy war with Russia, which damages the entire union.

 "We are in an energy war with Russia, and this is harming the entire EU. With the agreement of the European Commission and the Prime Minister, I propose to convene an extraordinary meeting of the EU Energy Council as soon as possible," Sikela wrote on Twitter.
