The Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant is connected to the grid and produces electricity for Ukraine's needs.

 "On August 26, at 2:04 p.m., one of the power units of the ZNPP that was stopped yesterday was connected to the power grid, and capacity is being added. There are no comments on the operation of the equipment and safety systems," the message says.

 As reported, the PL-750 kV "Dniprovska" overhead line was disconnected on the territory of the Zaporizhzhya NPP. Such a situation arose for the first time in the history of the station.

 At the same time, residents of Energodar were asked not to drink iodine, since the radiation background in the city was within normal limits.
