Three G7 leaders - Germany, Canada and Japan - confirmed their participation in the online summit of the Crimean Platform on September 23.

This was reported on the official Twitter account of the Crimean platform.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Chisida are expected to join the virtual summit.

On September 23, a year after the first summit, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky initiated the holding of the second summit of the Crimean platform. It will be held in online format.

Not only regular members of the Krimska Platform were invited to the summit, of which there are 48 today.

The Crimean Platform is an international format, created in 2021, which aims to achieve the de-occupation of Crimea.

The first summit of the Crimean Platform took place last year also on September 23 in Kiev. Representatives of 47 states and international organizations took part in it, and they approved a joint interstate decision on how to act to end the annexation and return Crimea.
