Podolyak called "a cheap show" the intentions of Russia to blame Ukraine for the shelling of ZNPP

Russia is trying to accuse Ukraine at the UN for the shelling of the Zaporizhzhia NPP. However, Moscow will not be able to do so. Mikhail Podolyak, advisor to the head of the Presidential Office, said this on Twitter.

He stated that Russia carries out provocations at Europe's largest nuclear power plant, mines its territory and shells cities from it. However, the Russian Federation seeks to blame the Ukrainian military for its criminal actions.

"The Kremlin wants to initiate another cheap performance within the walls of the UN, but it forgets: the world does not work by the rules of Russian television," he wrote.

It is worth noting that Russia asked the UN Security Council to hold a meeting on August 11 to discuss the situation at the Zaporizhzhia NPP.
