Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on the eighth anniversary of Mariupol's liberation from the pro-Russian occupation that the city would be liberated as it had been in 2014.
"On the eighth anniversary of the liberation of Mariupol from pro-Russian terrorists, we again fight for it and all of Ukraine. As in 2014, Mariupol will be liberated again. The Ukrainian flag will return, as will every town and village where the invaders came. Because this is our country and our people!", Zelensky wrote on Telegram.
