The Russian occupants continue to seek to force the Seversky Donets. They are looking for weaknesses in the defenses of the Ukrainian defenders, as well as trying to crush the artillery of the AFU near the river.
This information was shared by Ukrainian Defense Ministry spokesman Oleksandr Motuzyanik during a national TV marathon on June 10.
The spokesman of the Ministry of Defense added that forcing the river is a dangerous venture. The units that go on the attack "are open enough to be hit by artillery".
Recall that yesterday, June 9, the head of the Luhansk regional military administration Sergei Gaidai warned of possible attempts by the occupants to cross the Seversky Donets. Due to the hot weather, the water level in the river has dropped, which may motivate the enemy to try to force the barrier, reports UNIAN.
