The political technologist of a detained MP of the political party "Opposition Platform - For Life" was suspected of high treason. About it reports the Security Service of Ukraine.
"According to the materials of the SBU received suspicion of high treason political technologist Medvedchuk. This became possible immediately after the conclusion of a comprehensive forensic psychological and linguistic examination, which analyzed the body of evidence collected by the staff of the Security Service", - said in the message.
According to the conclusion, the statements and activities of the political technologist were aimed at harming the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
As a result of searches, SBU officers seized items and documents confirming his ties with the Russian Federation. Among them were analytical materials on the denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine.
At present, measures to confirm the possible use of these and other materials in the planning of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russia are continuing.
It has been established that the figure was connected with the employees of the special services of the Russian Federation, who acted in Ukraine under diplomatic cover. He often participated in propaganda broadcasts on RosTV and headed a group of experts.
