German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in one of his speeches said that Berlin will transfer lethal weapons to Ukraine, as well as the funds necessary to purchase everything necessary. The chancellor's statement was broadcast by the FREEDOM television channel.

"We have asked the German arms industry to report what materials it can supply in the near future. Ukraine has now made a selection from this list and we will also provide it with the money needed for the purchase. Among everything as before are weapons that include anti-tank weapons and interceptors. As well as ammunition and what can be used in artillery combat", - stated Scholz.

Earlier it was reported that Germany refused to supply Ukraine with old Marder infantry fighting vehicles as part of military assistance.
