The number of war-affected children in Ukraine has risen to 646

Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, 646 children have been injured. Of these, 226 were killed and 420 were injured.

 

This is reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.

 

The Office notes that these figures are not final, as work continues to install them in places of active hostilities in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories.

 

Thus, the most affected children in the Donetsk region - 139, Kyiv region - 116, Kharkiv region - 99, Chernihiv region - 68, Kherson region - 48, Luhansk region - 45, Nikolaev region - 44, Zaporizhzhia region - 28, Sumy region - 17, in Kyiv - 16, Zhitomyr region - 15.

 

In particular, on May 12, the Russian military fired near the village of Dobryanka in the Kherson region. Dobryanka, Kherson region. As a result, a 9-year-old boy was wounded.
