Hungarian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Ukraine Istvan Ijdjarto has said that his country will not block Ukraine's accession to the EU when the time comes.
The diplomat said this in an interview on the Espresso TV channel.
The ambassador made this assurance on his own initiative, without a question from the presenter on the subject.
"At the end, I want to assure you that when they start considering Ukraine's membership in the European Union, Hungary will support it," Ijdjarto summarized.
