Russian occupants began to storm Azovstal in blockaded Mariupol - they are trying to break into the territory of the plant. This was reported in Telegram by journalist Andrei Tsaplienko.
"The occupants began to storm Azovstal, right now they are trying to break into the territory of the plant. The information is confirmed by the deputy commander of the Azov regiment. There are no more details yet," wrote Tsaplienko.
According to him, before the assault, the aviation of the orcs bombed Azovstal for several hours in a row.
"There was a large-scale fire, a column of smoke can be seen in all areas of Mariupol," Tsaplienko noted.
Recall that the Ukrainian side evacuated more than a hundred women, children and the elderly from the territory of the steel plant "Azovstal".
The head of the Servants of the People faction and the head of the Ukrainian negotiating team from Russia, David Arahamiya, said that the evacuation of people from Azovstal is only the first part of the "special operation", which plans to remove all people from the plant as a result.
