Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the supply of Western weapons to Ukraine poses a threat to the security of the European continent. This was reported by The Guardian.
"The tendency to pump Ukraine with weapons, including heavy weapons, is an action that threatens the security of the continent, provokes instability," he said.
Peskov was responding to comments Wednesday by British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss that countries opposing Russia's invasion of Ukraine should "ramp up" military production to help Ukraine, particularly by supplying heavy weapons, tanks and aircraft.
