On May 1, the invaders are introducing a ruble zone in Kherson Oblast. At the same time, both the Russian ruble and the Ukrainian hryvnia will be in circulation in the regions of occupation for several months.

Kirill Stremousov, deputy head of the occupation military-civil administration, said that the "transition period" will last four months. After that, the Russian ruble will become the only currency in the Kherson region.
