The General Staff of the AFU informed about the operational situation on the fronts at the beginning of the 64-day war, as well as about active battles with Russian troops in various directions.

Russian troops are increasing the pace of the offensive operation in the Eastern operating zone. In almost all directions the enemy has an intensive fire impact. The greatest activity is in the Slobozhansky and Donetsk directions.
In the Volyn and Polessk directions there are no significant changes in the work of the enemy units.
The enemy is trying to ensure the retention of the AFU reserves in the Siversky direction due to the presence of forces, and tries to prevent the movement of the Ukrainian military to the Eastern operating zone.
In the Slobozhansky direction, the enemy continues to shell Kharkiv.
The main efforts of the invaders are concentrated in the Izyum direction. Thus, with the help of existing units, the enemy is trying to conduct an offensive in the directions of Suligovka - Novaya Dmitrovka and Andreevka - Bolshaya Kamyshevakha. To strengthen the advancing grouping in Izyum, the occupants additionally moved units of airborne troops, as well as up to 500 pieces of equipment.
In the Donetsk direction, the enemy grouping continues to conduct active operations on the line of contact. The main efforts are concentrated on cordoning off the grouping of troops of the Defense Forces.
On the Liman direction, the Russian Federation troops have improved their tactical position and are trying to develop an offensive on Liman. The invaders are making preparations to force the Seversky Donets River.
In the Severodonetsk direction the enemy conducts an offensive on Orekhovo.
In the Avdeevka direction the enemy in order to seize Marinka and Ocheretne has an intensive fire influence.
In the Kurakhov direction, the occupants with the support of artillery conduct an offensive in the directions of Staromayorske - Velyka Novoselka and Lyubimovka - Zelenoye Polye.
In the Tauride direction, the enemy units continue to conduct demonstration actions and maneuvers in order to prevent the redeployment of AFU troops to other directions.
The General Staff said that the occupants continue to use the Melitopol airfield for basing and flying Su-25 attack aircraft, Ka-52 attack helicopters and Mi-8 transport-combat helicopters.
In the South Bug direction, the enemy grouping is concentrating its main efforts in the Kherson - Nikolaev and Kherson - Krivoy Rog directions.
"The enemy as a result of assault actions entrenched in the vicinity of the settlement of Tavricheskoe, tries to fire on the positions of our troops in the areas of the settlements of Aleksandrovka and Novaya Zarya. In the areas of Stanislav and Molodetskoye settlements, units of rocket and barrel artillery are building up," the report says.
Our units of anti-aircraft missile forces of the Armed Forces and Ground Forces in the previous day hit 8 enemy air targets: 1 aircraft, 1 cruise missile and 6 UAVs of operational-tactical level.
Soldiers of the AFU in the past 24 hours in Donbas repulsed 6 attacks of Russian troops, destroying 5 tanks, 1 artillery system, 22 units of armored vehicles, 1 vehicle and 1 anti-aircraft system.
